Restaurant with Indian specialities and reasonably priced lunchtime menus, a cosy basement for a drink

Immersion in the world of Indian cuisine: scents, spices and decor are at the gateway to Basel! The Mantra offers a menu of Indian specialties that will delight all papillae as they contain chicken, lamb and fish in addition to entries and desserts. At noon, the restaurant offers four varied and affordable formulas, composed, in addition to dishes in sauce, of delicious saffron rice. Little more: The homemade Indian breads that accompany any dish as well as the mantra, a dessert that combines the freshness of a fruit salad with oriental amuse. The place also offers the possibility to have a drink in the basement in a cozy room and lounge. The service is impeccable! A cuisine of the representative and qualitative world allowing the discovery of new flavors at a reasonable price.

Une vraie découverte, manger indien ne fait pas partie de mon quotidien, mais là grosser surprise. C'était excellent, fin raffiné dans un décor pas trop kitche contrairement à certains restaurant de ce type. Vraiment il conseiller.
