LE SAVOY
In the Rue du Sauvage - whose appearance has changed dramatically in recent times with the widening of sidewalks and the planting of trees - you'll find a bistro that has remained virtually unchanged since it opened in 1953. In 2011, the uncle gave way to the nephew and his wife. Marco and Sabrina Colella are now in charge of perpetuating the Savoy tradition - a warm welcome and genuine conviviality - in a setting faithful to the beginnings of the adventure 61 years ago. All-nighters and early risers can enjoy breakfast here from 6:30 a.m., and in summer, the terrace can accommodate up to 60 people. The Savoy is the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee and read the day's newspaper in good company. Late afternoons with a drink aren't bad either. When you put it like that, it doesn't sound very ambitious, but at a time when many people are longing for peace and quiet, it's huge.
