POINT G
Point G, a name that certainly claque and attracts attention! Point G is a place of meeting, a place of reception and an associative café for LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer and inter) who want to be listened to, be accompanied or simply get informed. Supported by the Association L'Hêtre, this space (which lies in the passage between the rue de la Moselle and Rue de la Justice) is a visible space where you can come to chat, relax with a drink or play games. Of course it is also a place of information, listening and accompaniment, including for parents who are often as helpless as their children when they discover that the sexual identity of their offspring is different from what they imagined. Unfortunately, many adolescents are thrown out of their homes when their parents see their homosexuality. Delivered to themselves, in full emotional and material distress, they find themselves on the streets and destitute. The association helps these young people by providing moral support and temporary accommodation. We can only welcome the existence of a welcome, open to all, to combat homophobia and all discrimination due to sexual identity. Supported for one year by the Fondation de France, the association will need help to keep its premises after May 2017, donations are welcome!
