Museum of Printing on Cloth with more than 6,000 volumes from the mid-18th century to the contemporary period.

A bit of an artistic blur in this very large technical museum after the many twists and turns that have troubled its trajectory since 2018! However, it remains at the heart of the incredible museographic universe of this textile region in South Alsace. It is a bit like the heart of the reactor of a unique textile heritage in Europe. It has been built up in layers, with important donations and major acquisitions. The museographic tour privileges one technique per floor.

Opening time and information on MUSEUM OF TEXTILE PRINTING

Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 13h to 18h. The museum is closed on 1 May, 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January. Free up to 6 years old. Adult: 11 €. Children (6 to 1 years old): 5.50 € (+ jobseekers, disabled visitors and their accompanying person, students up to 26 years old included, teachers). Senior rate (+60 years old): 10€ - Pass'Temps card: 7€ - "Family" package (2 adults + 2 children -18 years old): 27€. Guided tour. Shop. Animations. Free guided tour every Saturday afternoon around 3pm,.

Das Museum ist wirklich beeindruckend und bietet einen faszinierenden Einblick in die Geschichte von Kleidung und ihren Stoffen. Ich kann einen Besuch hier nur wärmstens empfehlen. Planen Sie etwa 2 Stunden ein, um alles zu erkunden. Das einzige kleine Manko ist, dass die meisten Texte nur auf Französisch verfügbar sind und keine Übersetzungen angeboten werden.
