This municipal museum offers beautiful collections bequeathed in the past by the employers of Mulhouse. It offers a good overview of the history of art, of French painting as well as numerous works by regional artists. The 19th century is the strong point of the collections. Let us not forget the Alsatian artist Jean-Jacques Henner, to whom a room is dedicated. Finally, contemporary creation can be discovered on the second floor, with internationally renowned artists and visual artists from the Mulhouse region. This museum is experiencing an increase in attendance.
