SQUARE STEINBACH
A square located in the heart of Mulhouse, with a playground for children and exceptional tree species.
Surrounded by the Hôtel du Parc and the Sinne theatre, the Fine Arts museum, the Steinbach square is a 1 ha corner of nature in the heart of the city. An intergenerational meeting place: picnics, jogging, playground for children, it is particularly appreciated since its redevelopment in 2017. The park takes its name from the Steinbach family, a Mulhouse family who lived in the Steinbach Villa, now the Fine Arts Museum. There are some exceptional tree species, such as the ginkgo, known as the "forty-coin tree".
