Garden located behind the Université Populaire, in a bucolic setting with a pretty stream running through it, right in the heart of the city
Dating from 1987, this small garden, built partly on the old moat of the city, is located behind the Popular University. It was originally an idea of Dr. Rolf Benner, an ophthalmologist, who wanted to provide a space for blind and visually impaired people by allowing them to guide themselves with the help of touch and smell. The path has been made easier by a specific paving, information on the 130 species of plants can be obtained thanks to Braille signs. Come and enjoy this bucolic setting crossed by a pretty stream in the heart of the city!
