The cave of superlatives! Mountain Cave, the translation of its Vietnamese name, is 9 km long and up to 200 m high in places. Considered the largest cave in the world, it is part of a vast network of some 150 caves. It is home to a river, lush jungle and extensive wildlife. It was opened to tourism in 2013, but only a small part of the cave is open to visitors from January to August. The rains that start in August then make the cave inaccessible.
