A small jewel nestled a few kilometres from the crowds of Mingora, the White Palace, now a hotel, was once the summer palace of the King of Swat. Framed by pines and mountains, bordered by a heady river, it is the ideal place to come and relax for a few days alone or with your family. For the record, Queen Elizabeth of England stayed there for a few days in 1961.
