A wooden house on the beach. This is where Chachita, a former schoolteacher who is very involved in tourism, is waiting for us. We are far from the conveniences of a hotel, but it is clean and the nature is omnipresent, between jungle and ocean, with sunsets of dream. You can go up the rivers, watch whales and turtles and of course discover the Afro-Colombian culture. And to top it all off, Chachita's beautiful smile and her fresh and tasty Pacific cuisine!

Ya que la posada está ubicada en el corregimiento más cercano a Nuqui, tuve la posibilidad de hacer una variedad de actividades guiadas como recorridos en kayak a manglares y rios, caminatas en la playa olímpica, y demás. Sin embargo, Pangui está repleto aventuras de naturaleza y siempre hay algo diferente para conocer, como caminatas por la selva virgen, cerros, manglares, y playas, visitas al río y experiencias culturales. La experiencia de conservación de manglares fue imperdible durante mi estadía.
There are not enough words to describe my experience during my stay at Chachita's. The location is truly unique, bordered by jungle, the sea, and the very important mangrove ecosystem preserved by Chachita and her family. On the beach in front of the cabins you can observe the phenomenon of the syzigy tide, which makes it a very special and magical place. When you arrive at the posada you immediately feel welcomed and as part of the family. I will always carry the warmth of Chachita, Ciro, Ana Maria, Victor, Don Mochito and the Pangui community in my heart. Also, the food was always fresh and delicious!
Since the posada is located in the town closest to Nuqui, I had the opportunity to do a variety of guided activities such as kayaking through mangroves and rivers, walks on the Olimpica beach, and more. However, Pangui is full of nature adventures and there is always something different to discover, such as walks through the virgin jungle, hills, mangroves, and beaches, visits to the river, and cultural experiences. The mangrove conservation experience was a must during my stay.
