NOK
The ethnic-chic garden of Lagos which offers a cuisine with African fusion tones. Located in the backyard of one of the city's most exclusive galleries, Alara, the restaurant takes its name from the Nok civilization of northwest Nigeria, renowned for its terracotta sculptures and ironwork as early as the 5th century BC. With such an introduction, the card must take up the challenge! Embark on a culinary journey prepared by Senegalese chef Pierre Thiam between Dakar, Abidjan and Addis Ababa from the mafé revisited with its sesame pita, braised fish and red lentil stew. Be careful, the menu may differ between the terrace where you will be offered a more relaxed menu and the sophisticated indoor restaurant: ask to see both. Portions that are sometimes a little chunky - with the notable exception of chocolate pie - prepare your stomachs! Subtle cocktails with local flavours. At nightfall, the garden lights up with touches of colour that complement the furniture, all in West African art and crafts. Professional and attentive service.
