THE LAGOON RESTAURANTS
How better to escape from the ambient traffic of Lagos and the boiling madness of the city than by sipping a giant cocktail on the terrace of the Lagoon? Less stuffy than its neighbour the Radisson, although the price range is barely lower, the view is just as breathtaking on the gentle flow of the lagoon, where a jumble of pirogues of fishermen and lively yachts sail. As its name suggests, the Lagoon is indeed a restaurant in the plural and the gargantuan menu seems to offer a world tour: in addition to Brazilian churrasco and continental dishes, you will find a Japanese, Indian, Chinese and Italian menu, not to mention the essential Lebanese specialities! "Who kisses too much, hugs too much," they say? That's true, but if the irregularity of the menu sometimes disappoints and you leave the stomach a little heavy, you'll be won over by some classics like grilled prawns with garlic, fish curry or homemade hummus.
