ORCHID BISTRO EXPRESS

Very nice setting for the detox brunch on Sunday. The luxuriant pocket terrace welcomes under its pergolas moult cactus, avocados and other tropical plants, as well as some orchids all the same! Small cosy interior with discreet sound volume. Many variations of custom brunch, from American classics (very copious pancakes!) and English to Nigerian or kosher versions. The plates are nutritious without forcing too much fat (rare enough to be highlighted) and the coffee is more than decent. The space fills up quickly on weekends: don't come too late. Denser - and more expensive - menu offered outside brunch hours with filet mignon, salmon steak or pesto pasta.
