GODAÏF VILLAGE
Godaïf village is at the same time a café, a bar, a decoration shop, a swimming pool and games area for children. Coffee is rather rare in Ikoyi and this one, opened in April 2019 by an Ethiopian woman - Godaïf is the name of an Eritrean city - living in Lagos, pleasantly fills this gap. Confidential, the place has neither a sign nor a front: you have to push the gate to find "the village", a pretty house surrounded by a courtyard and a garden, with a café on the ground floor. Some wooden tables and chairs are arranged in a light and warm setting, in a contemporary African style. Salads, sandwiches and desserts of the day are displayed on a pretty wooden counter. The pastries such as coffee are of high quality and the service is welcoming. Outside pocket terrace, overlooking the garden, the playground and the swimming pool. A bar adjacent to the pool is expected to open by the end of 2019. The Godaïf also offers decorative objects and some canvas bags for sale, on display in the entrance hall.
