The gallery's environment is most pleasant, with a green corridor leading to a beautiful coffee area - the BC Garden - with a view of the Lagos inland sea. It is in fact the former residence of Ben Enwonwu, a renowned and highly talented Nigerian sculptor. The gallery is managed by Oliver Enwonwu, who heads the Ben Enwonwu Foundation, which promotes the art of the deceased artist. The gallery's two rooms are modest, housed in a private house that regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, always by different artists, both Nigerian and continental. Please note that the gallery's website presents numerous interviews with artists, retracing their journey and commenting on their art.
