TRANSCORP CALABAR
The best hotel in town, which remains quite faded by international standards. The first category of rooms, the chalets, are comfortably old, with chipped tiles and earthenware and slightly curled paints, but a large bed with a quality mattress with air conditioning, desk, fridge, flat screen and coffee service in a spacious set. The second category is already much more modern, but the rooms can be a little dark. The hotel has an outdoor bar-restaurant by the pool, friendly and serving some continental dishes, unfortunately, it is replaced by a rather limited bar menu in the evening, and then frequented by couples and groups of friends with Nigerian sounds.
