MOGADISHU BARRACKS
One of the only "typical" addresses in the city... Located in the heart of a fish market where the saleswomen can be seen bustling on the central stalls, a few gargotes decorated with plastic chairs and tables. This is stand 9, Sarah's, where many people have their habits, but nothing prevents you from changing. So we come here for the atmosphere, but especially for the grilled fish, which is excellent. Tasted by hand for purists, we will make sure to order it in advance by calling the Mama who manages one of the gargotes - and to specify "no pepper ! ». A large fish is usually enough for 4-5 people. The market is actually held by the wives of the soldiers in the barracks - hence the name of the place. Homemade fries are delicious and prepared right in front of you with a breathtaking industry.
