HÉLÈNE’S BISTRO
One of the best and most expensive tables in the city. It was Chief Emeka who set up his quarters in this very family setting - you'd think you were in a friend's living room (distinguished version) - after having attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Training that is paid for and the card is significantly more expensive than elsewhere in Abuja. Once this has been said, one can only be won over by the finesse and flavours of a true Franco-Nigerian fusion cuisine. Lots of purées, mousses and meats in sauce, all with a neat presentation. The desserts are also on a level. The limited menu is renewed according to the season and the service is pleasant, with all the necessary French-touch.
