The ticket price includes a guided tour by an enthusiastic guide who specializes in the history of the region and the country. The city centre includes eight notable mosques, dating back about 300 years. Each mosque belonged to an influential family in the village. Four of them are grouped around the jataq (common public space). All were built of wood according to traditional architecture. Lotus flowers, swastikas, and other geometric motifs are engraved on some pillars or doors, testifying to the influence of Buddhism and Hinduism.
