Based in Munster, Torréfaction Schreiber is a family-run business specializing in artisanal roasting, steeped in tradition since 1931. We offer "specialty" coffees, renowned for their excellent taste. Considering coffee to be a noble, complex and subtle product, it is rigorously selected directly from producers around the world. It is then carefully roasted in its Haut-Rhin workshop, using all its expertise to guarantee an exceptional product. When you visit our store, you'll discover a vast range of coffees, as well as automatic coffee machines and a multitude of accessories for enjoying this beverage. To help you find the coffee to suit your tastes, an artisan roaster will advise and guide you in the discovery of new flavors. The range has also been enhanced by a selection of teas from the famous Dammann Frères house, offering green, black, white, natural and flavored teas, as well as infusions, rooibos and a range of tasting accessories. USE :
1 / Place the filter in the Chemex®
2 / Using a pouring kettle, rinse with hot water and wait until completely drained. This preheats the Chemex® and removes the paper taste from the filter
3 / Leave filter in place and discard water
4 / Add the ground coffee and start brewing
5 / First extraction: spray the coffee for 30 to 45 seconds, starting from the center of the cone and working outwards, turning in a spiral to cover the coffee with water. At this stage, avoid direct contact between the filter and the water
6 / Total extraction time: between 3 min 30 and 4 min
7 / Once extraction is complete, remove the filter and enjoy.
