Castle, one of the best preserved in Tyrol, with a chapel decorated with Gothic frescoes in Campo Tures.
This is one of Tyrol's best-preserved castles. Founded in the 13th century by the powerful Tures family, who bequeathed their name to the valley, it has undergone successive extensions and changes of ownership. Unguided tours include access to the castle courtyard, garden and multimedia room in the keep. With a guide, the tour includes the castle's rooms, some fully panelled and furnished with period furniture, the chapel with Gothic frescoes by the Pacher school (15th century), the dungeon and the weapons room.
