At an altitude of 500 m and 15 minutes from the Route des Tamarins, charming new chambres d'hôte are located in a bucolic setting. Valérie and Jean welcome you to an elegant, modern architect-designed villa, whose centerpiece is a vast living room opening onto outdoor terraces and the verdant garden. Set on two levels around a beautiful, light-filled staircase, it's a pleasant place to have breakfast, read a book or enjoy an aperitif. The two rooms on offer, with comforts worthy of a grand hotel, are spacious, with high ceilings, and feature top-of-the-range bedding (king size or twin), beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers, private terraces, TV and WiFi. All are brand-new, built with noble materials, and elegantly furnished and decorated to order, with attention to detail and good taste. At the table, reserved for room guests, classic Creole cuisine is served, with chicken combava papaya as the specialty. Also on the property, a large family gîte was being finished at the time of our visit. Comfortably organized around a large 60 m² varangue with hammock, it features three double bedrooms, four mezzanine beds, a full kitchen, bathroom and outdoor shower. Finally, between the flowers and vegetable gardens, there's a ping-pong table. A warm welcome.
