The area around the fishing port is well worth a visit. The Place du Marché is home to a number of boutiques, including the must-visit Au Gré du Vent with its collection of kites of all kinds, and Trésors de plage, which offers creations made from objects and materials found by the sea. In season, evenings often come alive with free open-air shows and events such as the Festival littéraire des Îles. Also worth a visit: the Sentier historique and its exhibition of archival photographs.
