CHÂTEAU MADELINOT

The hotel was centrally located and very close to the ferry. The parking lot could use an upgrade as it is gravel and full of pot holes but there was still plenty of parking. From the hotel we were able to travel and explore the entire island. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the ocean. The only issue was you could hear people walking the hallway but it didn't really bother us or wake us up, other than that, very quite. The pool, sauna and hot tub were enjoyable after a long day of exploring the island, hiking and walking the beaches. There were 2 hot tubs which was very nice. The buffet breakfast was well worth the $24, one of the best buffet breakfasts we've ever had. When it was time to leave, check out was quick and we were only minutes from the ferry. I'd stay there again.

Its a peaceful place for people who wants to explore a clean environment , fresh air.

Nous avons logé 2 nuits suite à l'annulation de notre vol de retour avec l'ouragan lee. Première nuit, nous étions à l'étage la plus haute. Les lits et oreillers sont tellement confortables. J'en veux un pareil à la maison. J'ai moins aimé le balcon quand on est assis, la vue de l'océan est coupé par les barreaux du patio. La climatisation est bruyante. La 2e nuit, on a eu un chambre avec cuisinette et micro-ondes. Wow c'était super cool. Je vous le conseille. Notre chambre était tout en bas et on voyait très bien l'océan sans rien qui cachait. Le seul problème est les gens de la chambre du dessus. On les entendait très bien marché et faire fonctionner le lavabo ou le bain. Pas de problème le jour, mais la nuit c'est plate. Ils se sont levés à 4h30 pour prendre le traversier. On a pas dormi de 4h30 à 5h30. Ils faisaient trop de bruits. On a aimé les services, soient la piscine, la buanderie, les distributrices et un micro-ondes pour tous. Ils ont comblés plusieurs de nos demandes. On s'est senti rassuré là-bas sans notre vol prévu. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Je vous recommande l'hôtel, mais demandez une chambre au plus haut niveau. La vue est moins belle, mais vous aurez la paix pour bien dormir. Il y a le resto sur place aussi si vous êtes mal pris comme nous.
