Circular route from the Veulla-Covarey parking lot (1,300 m). The path climbs to the Servaz mountain pasture (1,540 m) and the lake of the same name (1,806 m). Trail 5C continues to the plateau of lakes (Vallette, Blanc, Noir, Cornu) where the Refuge Barbustel (2,200 m) is located, reaches the Grand Lac (2,485 m), one of the largest natural bodies of water in Valle d'Aosta, and then northwards becomes route 6: up the Collet du Mont Belplat, following the ridge line between the Chalamy and Clavalité valleys to Lac Gelé (2,600 m).
