SI THEP HISTORICAL PARK
An ancient fortified city, home to numerous relics such as human skeletal remains, monuments and more.
The remains of this ancient city are located in the valley of the Pa Sak River. The fortified city, surrounded by a circular moat, reached a diameter of 1.5 km. The outer city occupied a rectangular area, also surrounded by walls. Archaeological research has uncovered the remains of five human skeletons. The remains of several monuments can be found in the area: Khao Klang Nai, Prang Song Phi Nong and Prang Sri Thep. Their existence dates back to the 11th and 12th centuries of the Christian era.
