It's a classic on the port of Gialos: Pantelis opened its doors years ago, and continues to draw crowds for its slightly more upscale - and therefore more expensive - cuisine than that offered by a traditional taverna. Succulent specialties include lamb with bulgur or linguini with sea urchins. Symi prawns are also a must, as is octopus in truffle oil. Once again, be warned: mezzedes and starters to share are really more expensive than elsewhere.
