This ultra-modern distillery is the latest thing to happen on Speyside. The site is absolutely sumptuous, and whether you're into contemporary architecture or not, it's sure to win you over with its incredible originality and aesthetic appeal. In addition to the tours (remember to book in advance), stop off here to see the exhibition tracing the history of Macallan and showcasing exceptional decanters and bottles. It's free and open to the public. Brasserie and bar are a must, and offer excellent value for money.
