Comfortable and fully renovated former farmhouse with garden in Murbach offering refined rooms
A few years ago, Sylvie and Robert Rothenflug decided to share their passion for an incredible place: the Schaeferhof - not to be confused with the Schaefferhof in Duppigheim, which is spelled with two "f". This former 18th-century farmhouse is now listed in the Supplementary Register of Historic Monuments. Entirely renovated in the old-fashioned way, with exposed beams, park, vegetable garden and sheep pen, this immense building offers the most modern comforts, with multi-jet showers and whirlpool baths in the refined bedrooms, and quality tablecloths and crockery for the table d'hôte. But what's most interesting about this haven of peace is the family atmosphere, where you can relax in the garden in the morning, with kougelhof, brioche and homemade jams on the menu, accompanied by birdsong, surrounded by trees, flowers and other animals. In the evening, you'll enjoy the fruits of Robert Rothenflug's passion for his kitchen garden: eggplants with original flavors, rare vegetables, peas, beans, etc., brought together, for example, in a velouté of pumpkin, shavings of foie gras and lentils. These seasonal menus are sure to make you appreciate both Alsatian flavors (baeckeofa, traditional sauerkraut or fish sauerkraut) and the close proximity to nature. The 4-star Gîtes de France rating is well-deserved. Don't forget to book in advance, as this charming place is becoming increasingly popular.

En effet, la maison se situe dans un cadre enchanteur à proximité de la sublime Abbaye de Murbach. La propriétaire est très agréable et donne son maximum pour faire plaisir ses hôtes !
