VILLAGE DE KOSSOU

Village with hydroelectric power station, Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Bandama silver lacets, Kossou lake and more.
Kossou offers a spectacle of great beauty: past the hydroelectric power station, Notre-Dame-du-Lac, a Madonna with incredibly peaceful features, welcomes the visitor at the entrance to the dike. On the left, the silvery laces of the Bandama are lost in lush vegetation, while on the right the lake of Kossou stretches as far as the eye can see. Fishermen in their boats, slender tongues of earth advancing on the surface of the lake barely wrinkled by the wind, rocks and dead trees floating on the vast liquid expanse, give the landscape a melancholic beauty.
