Village with cotton mill, sawmills, plantations of 1,500 hectares of cocoa trees and 527 hectares of coffee trees...
On the road to Kossou, it concentrates an important part of the agricultural activity of the region and, in addition to the plantations, there is also a cotton hulling factory as well as a few sawmills and artisanal rice processing units. Its plantations form an orchard of 1,500 hectares of cocoa trees and 527 hectares of coffee trees. Originally owned by a settler, they were bought by Houphouët-Boigny himself. The latter was responsible for boosting production and expanding the planted park, which he later donated to the state in 1977.
