It is the oldest wooden lighthouse on Prince Edward Island and is considered a heritage site. It's well worth the few dollars to climb to the top and enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and Northumberland Strait. Before leaving, stop by the small gift store on the main floor. Tip: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it is possible to have an interpretive tour with the daughter of a former keeper of this lighthouse.
