PANMURE ISLAND PROVINCIAL PARK
Park with a long sandy beach always deserted and lined with dunes, located not far from Gaspereaux on Panmure Island.
Not far from Gaspereaux, a picturesque lobster fishing village, this provincial park offers a long, sandy beach that is almost always deserted, bordered by dunes, and is actually a barrier beach linking Cape Sharp to Panmure Island. On the island, climb to the small octagonal white and red lighthouse built in 1853 to mark the entrance to Georgetown harbour and enjoy a beautiful view of the Northumberland Strait. Camping is available on site.
