CHÂTEAU DE VAILLAC
Feudal castle, an emblematic example of post-Hundred Years War architecture, visit in high season with events
It is in the small valley of the Foulon that nestles the village of Vaillac, overhung by its magnificent castle. This remarkable building was built from 1450 and remains an emblematic example of the architecture after the Hundred Years War in Quercy. A jewel of feudal architecture, the ensemble also includes impressive 16th century stables. The castle has belonged since the early 1700s to the Antin de Vaillac family, who still own it today, and who offer visits in high season with events.
