Group of megalithic monuments containing megalithic burials and archaeological objects
A group of megalithic monuments were found between the towns of Aiguafreda (Vallès Oriental) and Brull (Osona), in and around the Serra de l'Arca. Although the existence of megalithic burials in the area has been known since the nineteenth century, it was not until 1914 that the area was excavated. The excavated archaeological artefacts are now kept in the Episcopal Museum of Vic. A walk in the forest, along the GR2, invites you to observe this heritage left by the first inhabitants of the locality (itinerary to be downloaded from the town's website).
