Romanesque church with a side nave, a chapel and a bell tower displaying an admirable 17th century painted altarpiece
In the heart of the Vallcàrquera valley, this Romanesque church is home to an admirable 17th century painted altarpiece. The building was enlarged around 1679 with the addition of a side nave, a chapel and a bell tower. It retains its original nave, covered by a barrel vault, although it was partially modified during its enlargement. The latter ends in a semicircular apse which also bears the marks of later modifications. Every year on Easter Monday, the procession of the Festa dels Sants Patrons ends here.
