ESGLÉSIA DE SANT ANDREU
Picturesque church with a single nave in Cànove I Samalús with a primitive semi-circular apse
A picturesque church dating from the 11th century, built in the heart of the village of Samalús. Single-nave building, still with its original semicircular apse. In the 16th century it was enlarged by the addition of side chapels covered with cross vaults. It was further enlarged in the 19th century. The lower part of the bell tower, decorated with Lombard arches, dates from the Romanesque period (the upper part would have been built around the 16th century).
