ERMITA DE SANT GUILLEM
Hermitage with a tourist route that allows you to reach Sant Guillem through Can Pitarra
The origin of this hermitage, documented since 1581, is uncertain. Following a fire, it was seriously damaged during the Spanish Civil War. In the 1990s, a group of inhabitants took part in its reconstruction, hence its present, modern appearance. Every second Sunday in May the Aplec de Sant Guillem (Sant Guillem's Aplec) is celebrated, a popular gathering that has fallen into oblivion and is later recuperated by the villagers. A tourist route from the church of Sant Joan leads to Sant Guillem via Can Pitarra (3.4 km).
