Neo-Romanesque building with a single nave, adjoining the house of the Count of Centelle, with a semi-circular apse
Adjacent to the house of the Count of Centelles, the church of Vilalba Sasserra is a neo-Romanesque building designed by the Catalan architect Josep Maria Pericas (1881-1965). Its plan consists of a single nave topped by a cross vault and a semicircular apse. Its facade is preceded by a pretty closet with three semicircular arches. Above the porch, the black slate, which adorns the sloping roof and the double-pitched roof of the upper section, contrasts with the white walls. To the right of the presbytery stands the bell tower.
