Old parish church with a square bell tower in Vilalba Sasserra with 2 chapels and a square presbytery.
It was the old parish church of the village. Of Romanesque origin, it is located in the middle of a pine forest. It has a Latin cross floor plan, with a single nave covered by a barrel vault and finished with a semicircular apse. Its architecture has been transformed over the centuries. In particular, two chapels were added in the 16th and 15th centuries. The square presbytery was built in 1609, which led to the disappearance of the Romanesque apse. The building is also topped by a square bell tower.
