TORRE DEL TELÈGRAF
Tower of Catalan military telegraphy line at the top of the hill dels Bosquerons at 222 m of altitude
It is one of the towers of the Catalan military telegraph line built in the 19th century between Barcelona and Vic in the context of the Carlist Wars. At the top of the Bosquerons hill, at 222 metres above sea level, it was used for almost 14 years to communicate with the towers of Montcada hill and Granollers. In 1862, due to the obsolescence of optical telegraphy, the tower was abandoned. The site itself is worth seeing for the view it offers over the area.
