Menhir carved in a granite block of 2 m height near the village square of Santa Maria de Martorelles
A menhir carved out of a granite block, more than 2 meters high. It is exposed to the open air, just a stone's throw from the village square (near the stairs leading to the Baixada de la Font, on the right when you do your back to the square). Dated approximately to the end of the Neolithic, it is the first menhir found in the Catalan coastal range. It was found by an inhabitant of the village in a grove in the area of Els Lletreros and about 400 metres from the dolmen of Castellruf. On one of the two faces of the menhir, admire the longitudinal "B" shaped figure, the interpretation of which is still unknown.
