ESGLÉSIA DE SANTA MARIA DE MARTORELLES
Church of Romanesque origin with a single nave in Santa Maria de Martorelles with semicircular apse in Romanesque style.
Take a look at this church of Romanesque origin built according to a single nave plan in the heart of the hamlet. Its earliest mention dates back to 1005, although its architecture bears the stigma of many transformations, including major alterations made during the 16th and 17th centuries. From the original structure, however, the semicircular Romanesque apse from the 11th century, with three windows and a cul-de-four vault, which was restored in 1383, has been preserved.
