POBLAT IBÈRIC DE LES MALESES
Archaeological site at the top of the Maleses hill with a breathtaking view of the whole Vallès
This 2,000 square metre archaeological site is located at the top of Les Maleses hill. It is a testimony to the Iberian civilization, and more specifically to the Laietans tribe, established on the coastal lands between the rivers Tordera and Llobregat. Dated between the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC, the remains that can be seen today are the bases of the walls of rectangular houses made of stone, mud and wood. At an altitude of 420 metres, the place offers a breathtaking view over the whole of the Vallès, and from Pi Candeler, over part of the Barcelonès and the Maresme. Indeed, the place had an excellent defensive character.
