Amazing statue-menhir classified as Neolithic remains, in the park of can Mulà, measuring 4.90 meters high
In the park of can Mulà, garden of the library, linger a moment in front of this amazing statue-menhir. Neolithic vestige, it was discovered in 2009 in the park of Les Pruneres, a few minutes walk from the site where it is exposed. The sunlight reveals in more detail the geometrically shaped engravings carved in the monumental stone. Notice the presence of an anthropomorphic figure, eyes, nose, forehead, interpreted as a fertility deity. At 4.90 metres high, it is the largest menhir found in southern Europe.
