TORRE DE CELLERS
Preserved fortress in the Parets del Vallès region with a rectangular building with 4 cylindrical towers
This fortress is one of the best preserved Catalan castles in the region. It was erected on the site of an ancient Roman villa on the Via Augusta: Villa Abdela. Rebuilt in the 14th and 17th centuries, the castle was inhabited in its time by the Baron de Rocafort before functioning as a farm in a region long dominated by agriculture. It is a rectangular building, flanked by four cylindrical towers topped with crenellations, which is accessed by a medieval bridge. Surrounded by magnificent gardens with chalk lines, this property hosts weddings and other celebrations. A sumptuous setting.
