MUSÉE MUNICIPAL CAN XIFREDA
Small municipal museum presenting objects from excavations in the region, a collection of fossils and minerals
In a modernist castle inspired by Mozarabic architecture, this small municipal museum exhibits objects excavated in the region between the 1950s and the 1970s. Silex, ceramics and coins bear witness to the occupation of Sant Feliu from the Lower Palaeolithic to the Roman period.
It also houses a collection of fossils and minerals, but the most outstanding piece in the museum is the standard made by Gaudi for the Orfeó Feliuà.
