A single nave building with a beautiful Romanesque chapel in the Lombard style, far from the center of Lliça d'Amunt
This very beautiful Romanesque chapel in the Lombard style (11th-12th centuries) can be found away from the centre, in a wooded area near the river Tenes. The building was erected according to a plan with a single nave finished on a semicircular apse. The latter is covered by a cul-de-four vault, decorated with arches separated by pilasters and pierced by three windows. Mentioned in historical documents since 1072, it is said to be one of the oldest parishes in the Vallès Oriental. It has undergone various transformations, especially in the 16th and 17th centuries, and more recently after the Spanish Civil War.
