There are many advantages to staying here. First of all, this shukubō is superb, with the view of its very pleasant Zen garden, which becomes enchanting in autumn. The food is very good and the atmosphere particularly relaxed. It is less modern, but the authenticity is there. The rooms have individual heating. The timetables of the public baths are a bit strict. You can also attend, in the early morning, the Goma fire ceremony as well as the service (longer than that of the other temples). In cash only.
