When you arrive at the cable car, this is the first monument you will see. The Daimon is the main door of Kôya-san. It is 25 metres high and was built in 1705. Statues of imposing deities keep the city entrance.

Premier monument que l'on voit quand on arrive à Koya-San. Cette imposante porte n'est pas l'attraction la plus incontournable mais c'est une très bonne entrée en matière.
